Product Information

Simply place the Radiator BOOster™ MK II on top of a conventional radiator, switch on and reduce the heating time and cost by as much as 50%. A highly effective device, which only costs around 30p per year to run. Now fitted with a thermostatic control and featuring a new adjustable, telescopic design.

The Radiator BOOster can either sit behind the top edge of your radiator, or simply laid along the top. In either case it will work perfectly, and save you energy. According to the leading UK energy providers, if you were able to turn down your room thermostat by just 1 degree Celsius (trials have indicated more that 2 degrees is normal), it would save the average home £49 per year, or 10% off your heating bills/year.

If you operate the Radiator BOOster for, say, six hours, every evening for six months of the year, it would cost just 30 pence/year to run. Along with saving you money, the manufacturing materials and processes used to produce the Radiator BOOster have been kept to a minimum and 99% of them can be recycled - further minimising the impact on Earth's resources!

The beauty of Radiator BOOster is that when the colder weather arrives, you simply plug it in and forget it. The device is fitted with a thermostatic switch which turns on the power to the unit as your radiator starts to warm, and then off again as it cools. Because it is only working when your radiator is warm, the energy consumption should be no more than 1p per week, yes, one penny!

It is anticipated that Radiator BOOster will probably become the greatest energy saving product to date! No mean feat for such a simple idea and principle.

How does it work?

This ingenious device works in 2 ways;

1) Your central heating boiler will use around 15 kilowatts of energy every hour (some even more). The clever fan arrangement within the Radiator BOOster™ draws heat from your radiator, heating your room in up to half the time, allowing your boiler to shut down much sooner. If you could save just one hour a week of your boiler working, you would save 15 kilowatts of energy. You could easily find the actual savings of between 7 and 14 hours/week (over 100 kilowatts) during the colder months.

2) As your radiator heats up, the ‘rear’ surface normally radiates heat onto your wall, heating this up, which in turn is lost through the wall structure due to conduction. The Radiator BOOster™ sucks most of this wasted heat away from the wall and fires it into your room, significantly reducing the losses, saving you even more energy. It really is as simple as that!
